Number of seats in the Deemed to beUniversity:-
The Boards of Management on the recommendation of the Academic Council has fixed the number of seats in various programs of the Deemed to be University at the beginning of each academic session in accordance with availability of teachers and infrastructure and as per permission received from regulatory bodies. It may be revised, if required, with due approval as mentioned above.
Alteration of seats in different programs:
Reservation of seats (Reservation Criteria for Admission):-
Reservation in admission to the Deemed to be University for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, EWS, Physically Challenged persons and Other (if any) shall be provided as per the provision mentioned below:

Fees Concessions (From AY-2021):
The fees concession shall be applicable on the portion of tution fees only, which is 70% of the total amount of the fee. The concession shall be as follows:
1. Brother/sister (sibilings): Full Tution fee for one student submitting minimum fee.
2. Brother/sister (sibilings): Half of the Tution Fee for one student submitting minimum fee.
3. Department of NGB (DU)Staff: 50% of Tution Fee (Subject to Rs. 1000/- maximum)
All the admissions in the Nehru Gram Bharati are made strictly on merit as determined on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the Entrance Test/Direct Interview, conducted by Nehru Gram Bharati.
Admission Procedure for Academic Courses on the basis of Merit & Direct Interview:
Manual/Online Application Form : An Online application form can be applied for all such academic programs through our website www.ngbv.ac.in or Manual Application Form is available in our Admission Cell office Located at Administrative Office at 104F/3, Malviya Road, George Town, Prayagraj 211002 or from Main Campus Kotwa-Jamunipur-Dubawal, Prayagraj 221505 and Hanumanganj Campus 221505. Admissions are made on "The basis of merit", followed by direct Interview by an admission committee.

Faculty of Science:The undergraduate B.Sc. course is a 3 year degree program. The students can choose anyone group mentioned below

*Note:After taking admission, the candidate will have to register themselves with the department concerned, failing which the admission will be treated null & void.
The students are required to submit the following documents alongwith their application forms:
1.Copy of Aadhar Card
2.Attested copies of High School/Intermediate Mark Sheet and Certificates and Graduation degree & Markssheets (In case of U.G. & P.G. admissions respectively.
3.Character Certificate of the Institution last attended.
4.Transfer/Migration Certificate.
5.Proof of the Weightage Claimed (Copies of Certificates) or any other Certificate required in reference to application Form.
6.Two Passport Sized Photographs.

For admission in M.A., the student must have passed B.A. degree with one of the subjects in 3rd year in which. he/she is seeking admission.
For admission in M.Com., the student must have passed graduation from any recognized University.
For admission in M.P.A. Music(Vocal), the student must have passed B.Mus./B.P.A. Music(Vocal), M.P.A. Music (Tabla), the student must have passed B.Mus./B.P.A. Music(Tabla) degree from any recognized University.
For admission in M.Sc.(Maths/Physics/Chemistry/Zoology/Botany) the student must have passed B.Sc. with respective subject in 3rd year from any recognized University.
For admission in M.S.W., M.A. (Journalism & Mass Communication), PGDJMC, PGDCA, the student must be graduate in any discipline from any recognized University.
For admission in M.Lib.I.Sc. the student must have passed B.Lib.I.Sc. from any recognized University.
Admission Procedure (Academic Courses With Entrance Test)
Application form :A common online application form is applicable to all such academic courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels where admission is to be made through Entrance Test strictly on merit basis. The Prospects can be downloded from Institutes website or can be obtained on cash payment of Rs. 1000/- from the Admin Office at Malviya Road, George Town, Civil Lines, Allahabad, Campuses of Nehru Gram Bharati at Kotwa-Jamunipur-Dubawal and Hanumanganj, Allahabad.
The academic programmes in which admission will be made through 'Entrance Test' are mentioned as under:
Under Graduate :B.Ed., B.Ed.(HI), B.B.A., B.C.A., LL.B., B.A.LL.B., D.Ed.(HI), B.El.Ed. and D.El.Ed.
Post Graduate :M.Ed., M.Ed.[HI], M.B.A., M.C.A. and LL.M.
Application forms Format available on website :The candidate can also choose to apply through online application forms available on the Nehru Gram Bharati (Deemed to be University)'s website: www.ngbv.ac.in. Last date of applying will be announced by the University. The Print Copy of online filled in application form along with Fee receipt generated & photographs must report the University's Admission Cell on such date as may be fixed by the Deemed to be University.
For admission in Ph.D. Program, UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure and Award of M.Phil./Ph.D. Degrees) Regulation, 2016 will be followed from CRET-2017.<<Nehru Gram Bharati (Deemed to be University) Ph.D. Ordinance>>
Note: Request/application of admitted students seeking cancellation of admission and refund of the fee will be entertained within 30 days only from the date of receipt of admission. Refund of the fee amount will be as per norms |
