About the Department : The Department of Agriculture was established in 2025-26. It offers B.Sc.(Ag)/B.Sc. (Ag. Hons.) with intake of 60 Seats.

The B.Sc. (Ag.) / B.Sc. (Ag. Hons.) programmes offer wide career progression opportunities in both government and private sectors. Graduates may pursue higher studies such as M.Sc. (Agriculture), MBA (Agri-Business), and Ph.D. programmes in various agricultural specializations. The degree also provides eligibility for competitive examinations and government services including Agricultural Officer, Agriculture Development Officer, Seed Officer, Food Inspector, Banking Officer, and positions in State and Central Agricultural Departments.
