Institutions Innovation Council (IIC)
Introduction:
Ministry of Education (MoE), Govt. of India has taken initiative to establish MoE’s Innovation Cell (MIC) to encourage inculcating the culture that will foster innovation in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). The MIC intends to nurture the entrepreneurial skills among young people helping and encouraging them to have innovative ideas and converting them to prototypes. MIC has envisioned to have Institution’s Innovation Council (IICs) across HEIs in India. To promote innovation, IICs of HEIs are formed for developing proper ecosystem. At NGB(DU), IIC has been established in the year 2021.
