About the Ph.D. Program
Admissions to Ph.D. program at NGB (DU), Prayagraj is conducted once a year, mostly in July. A Ph.D. program is offered in Full time and not in a distance learning mode, and Part time. Hence, coursework, participation in various interactions, submission of progress reports through presentations etc. on regular basis is mandatory during the program. A Full-time Ph.D. scholar shall mean a candidate devoting full time for completing the requirements of the program.
Who can apply?
The aspirants are admitted for Ph.D. degree program through Combined Research Entrance Test (CRET) conducted by the Deemed to be University each year as per the regulations of UGC, 2022. Admissions are granted strictly on the basis of merit followed by counselling to check their aptitude and motivation for research.
